AlphaGenome Atlas AVI score links variants to disrupted molecular mechanisms
GoogleDeepMind · x · 2026-09-08
DeepMind highlights that AlphaGenome Atlas spans 1 petabyte — over 30x the AlphaFold Database — giving scientists an intuitive way to link variants to the molecular mechanisms they disrupt.
The AlphaGenome Variant Impact (AVI) score combines AlphaGenome, AlphaMissense and other features to rank mutations from low to high impact and reveal damage mechanisms such as broken gene switches or RNA splicing instructions.
