AlphaGenome Atlas: AVI score ranks all 9B human DNA variants by impact
GoogleDeepMind · x · 2026-09-08
DeepMind detailed AlphaGenome Atlas, the most comprehensive catalogue of how every 9 billion possible single-letter DNA mutation affects molecular biology, free for academic use.
The core is the AlphaGenome Variant Impact (AVI) score, combining AlphaGenome, AlphaMissense and other features to rank mutations from low to high impact and reveal damage mechanisms like broken gene switches or RNA splicing. Access: Atlas website, AlphaGenome API, a skill in Google Antigravity, and Google Cloud soon.
