Google DeepMind officially launched AlphaGenome Atlas, an AI-powered searchable database that maps the predicted biological impact of all 9 billion possible single-letter DNA changes in the human genome.

Researchers can query any single-base variant's predicted effects directly, speeding up the hunt for disease-causing mutations and gene regulation studies without running predictions one by one. DeepMind accompanied the launch with a technical thread on how it can help biologists.
