Meshy nails a 3D asset on first try as a dev sketches an agent workflow on 6GB VRAM

Inspired by a Reddit user building a full game with AI-generated 3D assets via Meshy, the author experiments with a low-cost pipeline: Hermes Agent piloting Qwen 3.8:27B on a 6GB VRAM laptop. His idea: Qwen codes and writes asset prompts, unloads from VRAM while an image/3D generation model loads, generates the asset, then hands it back to Qwen for vision-based iteration. Meshy produced an impressive 3D model from a GPT-generated image on the first try. He asks for open-source 3D generation model recommendations.
