Notable AI researcher François Fleuret argues that software as "broadcasted" distribution is dissolving: the near future is AI-generated, per-user, locally produced software, yielding a far more stable, heterogeneous, redundant ecosystem robust to adversarial attacks. He adds that hardware makers should rush to add adequate crypto chips to maintain trust in this new software universe.
