Image-to-interactive-3D pipeline: Hyper3D plus Three.js plus AI coding
TheMoonMidas · x · 2026-09-08
Developer NickDevFE shared a workflow he calls one of the most commercially valuable he has tested, turning a single image into an interactive Three.js experience.
Three steps:
- Hyper3D handles 3D reconstruction from the image;
- img2threejs converts the reconstructed asset into a structured pipeline an AI coding model can work with;
- GPT-6 Astra follows that pipeline to produce an editable, interactive Three.js scene with animation, VFX, lighting, and application logic.
The key point, he argues, is what happens after the model exists: instead of ending with a static asset, you keep building around it with code — games, interactive product experiences, 3D websites, character showcases, virtual worlds, rapid prototypes. A live demo link is included.
