Replit CEO Amjad Masad announced the company's first international office in London, opened with Mayor Sadiq Khan. Masad praised the Mayor's "AI realist" stance: clear-eyed about AI-driven disruption but optimistic that broad access to tools and skills will spread the benefits.
Replit is also partnering with The Lord Mayor's Appeal to help young Londoners from disadvantaged communities build practical coding and AI skills, arguing AI will transform work and more people need to be able to create and build businesses with it.
