- Luna (described as the most cost-efficient model from OpenAI) does great, cheap work on explicit instructions like "do a, b and c"
- But the moment a task needs genuine comprehension and judgment, it breaks down: even when Astra writes a detailed plan, Luna may not fully understand or execute it at Astra's level
- Plans can only be so detailed, and unexpected situations during implementation will exceed what Luna is ready for
Bottom line: for work where Astra shines, don't hand off to a smaller model; Luna is best for cheap, simple tasks or stretching your own limits.
