Dev builds a one-customer app with Codex to audit a company's AI search visibility

A developer shares how he used Codex to build software serving exactly one customer: the company itself. The app learned the business from call transcripts, messages, the website and case studies, then audited the company's visibility across Google Search, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Stack: Apify for web data, SQLite for evidence, LinkedIn + Apollo for buyer lists, Next.js for the review UI. After a rough first version, he iterated until the app matched how the company actually makes decisions. His takeaway: nobody else needs this app — and that's the point, as software shifts to single-customer customization.
