Gary Marcus shares @hugospdx's hands-on rebuttal to claims that GPT-6 Astra is AGI: given a task on his website, the model misinterpreted the request, added an unrequested feature, ignored the product context, and made the UX worse.
His verdict: "Powerful model? Sure. AGI? Calm down" — anyone calling Astra AGI at this point is basically doing PR for OpenAI.
