- Nvidia is acquiring Hugging Face for $12.9 billion.
- Founders Clément Delangue (CEO), Julien Chaumond (CTO) and Thomas Wolf (CSO) are French, but the company was founded in New York in January 2016 and moved stateside in 2017 to raise; the cap table has been American for a decade.
- Its largest office is in Paris, but Hugging Face has always been a US Inc. — French Tech will claim the exit, though it never was a French company.
