CSProfKGD · x · 2026-09-08
Curator Luba Elliott and researcher Ioannis Siglidis will run the AI Art Gallery at ECCV 2026 in Malmö, September 10-12 — the second ECCV gallery after 8 years.
The show features 52 works created in 2025-2026 (12 Spotlights) plus 68 artist profiles, spanning novel CV techniques, unexpected reuse of traditional methods, critical takes on computer vision, and cross-modal experiments. An online gallery, tours and panels are available.
The curatorial essay traces AI art from DeepDream at ImageNet 2015 through GAN-era pioneers to diffusion prompters and ComfyUI, arguing LLM agents are now accelerating cross-modal exploration of form and meaning.
