ByteDance is preparing a real-time spatial video generation model, per Bloomberg. Founder Zhang Yiming is personally overseeing the project—built on its Seedance cinematic video model—coordinating business units and allocating AI compute, with a launch as soon as next month to compete with Meta and Alphabet in world models for interactive virtual worlds in livestreams, short dramas, and games.
