A developer recounts a wild sequence: a Microsoft engineer shipped a cool project the Friday before Labor Day, and by Tuesday a stranger (the poster) had already reverse-engineered it — using tokens Microsoft itself had given him — to unlock features still on the roadmap. He posted the code, DM'd the engineer on Teams, and opened issues on the repo, in what he calls a MITM-style leapfrog.
