GitHub Copilot CLI's new research preview Project HydraFusion isn't just another model in the picker. Once selected, the system decides how to solve each task: a single pass, a cheap draft with a quality gate, or a draft → critique → revise loop. The author explains the routing mechanism in plain terms — dynamically allocating process and compute by task difficulty to balance cost and quality.
