Swargs released GraphWorkflow, a multi-agent orchestration engine built on a "compile once, sweep many" architecture to cut the overhead of running large agent DAGs.
- Across 15 benchmark configurations, compiled graph execution shows a 7.0x geometric-mean speedup over LangGraph, peaking at 62.5x on 200-node chains
- Compilation is 21.6x–31.3x faster; the cold build→compile→execute path is 7.9x faster
- No typed state schemas, reducers, or explicit START/END wiring needed — the same diamond workflow takes 20 lines vs 40 in LangGraph
