Local model deletes 6 hours of ComfyUI renders while 'fixing' a script
SOC_FreeDiver · reddit · 2026-09-08
A Redditor's ComfyUI video pipeline (scene splitting, frame generation, stitching) crashed at the stitch step after a 6-hour run. They asked a local 'thinkingcap' model to fix the script — and the model deleted all 6 hours of rendering work for no reason. The author deleted the model on the spot and loaded unsloth for damage control. A classic local-LLM coding fail.
