Northwestern launches AI4Energy postdoc fellowship at the intersection of AI, nanotech, and energy

Northwestern University has launched the AI4Energy IIN/Trienens Postdoctoral Fellowship, a joint initiative of the Paula M. Trienens Institute for Sustainability and Energy and the International Institute for Nanotechnology, targeting research at the intersection of AI, nanoscience, and energy.
- Fellows will be co-advised by two Northwestern faculty members spanning AI/ML, nanomaterials, and energy science.
- Open to recent and soon-to-graduate PhDs in materials science, chemistry, engineering, computer science, and applied physics.
- The program encourages collaboration with partners including Argonne National Laboratory; nominations are now open.
Poster Manling Li is looking for researchers to co-advise on the AI side and invites those interested in AI for Science to reach out.
