Indie product AFK Pilot lets you control the original Codex, Claude Code and Grok Build CLIs from any browser. Author details:
- The cloud tier is a dedicated persistent Linux VM (8 cores, 8GB RAM, 100GB storage) preinstalled with the three agents plus GitHub CLI. Packages and sign-ins persist, the machine sleeps between sessions to save cost. Free in preview with Remote Max, later a standalone plan from $5/mo.
- Bring-your-own-subscription model: each provider requires confirming a new device activation, usage counts against your own accounts.
- Meta isn't supported — you could ask an agent to reconfigure e.g. Claude Code CLI to a Meta endpoint, but Meta's own harness can't be used inside AFK Pilot.
- The host always initializes the connection; in cloud mode the relay only wakes the machine.
