OpenAI and OpenRouter absorb a huge share of world's fraud; Stripe steps in

A YC founder notes that OpenAI and OpenRouter are now targets of a big chunk of the world's fraud efforts, as LLM APIs have become prime fraud targets. The silver lining: Stripe — itself a YC company and arguably the best in the world at fraud defense — is getting involved. The worry: if accessing LLMs starts getting annoying with more friction, this is why.
