AI agents saved this user $668 in a week by disputing bills and chasing refunds

Designer @owendesign shares two real cases of AI agents saving him money this week, $668 in total:
- Catch AI killed a bogus $467 AC bill: Catch called the company, explained the issue, and when they pushed back it cited Florida law — the charge was canceled.
- Grok Bot recovered a forgotten $1.99 charge: the bot logged into the site, closed the account, chatted with support, and emailed for a refund, which landed.
His reasoning on tool choice: Catch can make phone calls, while Grok Bot can't yet without a lot of extra setup.
