QuixiAI (Eric Hartford, known for open-model dataset work) publicly disputed actions taken against his OpenAI account over alleged distillation. He says he never distilled anything, was never told what he's accused of, and had no chance to defend himself. He adds that the account is connected to his medical records — he uses it to track his heart medications — and he can't even access the medical summaries he relies on, insisting he did nothing wrong.
