Huawei unveils Kirin 9050 Pro based on its Tau Scaling Law, claims 42% performance jump

Huawei launched its first smartphone powered by the Kirin 9050 Pro, which it says is built on a proprietary "Tau Scaling Law" that boosts semiconductor performance by reducing signal delays. A technique called LogicFolding shortens signal paths to pack more transistors into less space, part of Huawei's push to stay competitive without advanced foreign chipmaking equipment.
