Creator uses Astra to tear reality open into a room-sized mesh reconstruction on Quest 3

Creator @xbhartist demonstrated a mixed reality trick with Astra: tearing open the real world, stepping into a room-sized triangle mesh reconstructed from the physical space, then tearing it open again to return — a Reality → Mesh → Reality loop, built on Quest 3 with Unity and inspired by @lucasmartinic.
pvncher, who spent years in XR, noted the field's biggest barrier was the math required to build anything, and praised Astra for lowering the entry barrier for creators making polished, mind-bending experiences.
