Huawei held its first global launch event in six years, unveiling the MateXT2 tri-fold phone, HarmonyOS 7, and the long-awaited Kirin 9050Pro flagship SoC.
- Chip: 42% overall performance gain over the previous tri-fold; 9-core Linxi CPU with +24% single-core and +52% multi-core; self-developed Maleong GPU doubles compute units for +142% rendering; DaVinci NPU claims industry-first on-device MoE with 30B total/2B active parameters, enabling offline Pangu-based AI gallery sorting; Balong baseband lifts satellite paging success rate by 42%.
