Sam Altman and Jensen Huang declare "AGI has arrived," but the definitions diverge wildly: Altman's bar is outperforming humans at most economically valuable work, while Dario Amodei and Demis Hassabis define it as being smarter than a Nobel Prize winner across most fields. YuchenJ argues these are wildly different bars—the stricter one is closer to ASI—and concludes that under his reading, AGI is indeed here.
