Open-source CUT turns Twitch chat velocity into instant clips that pay the clipper

A 40-second stream clip pulled 3.8M views this week — the platform kept the traffic, the streamer kept the clout, and the clipper earned nothing. In response, a developer built CUT, an open-source tool deployed on Robinhood Chain that detects and monetizes stream moments automatically:
- Joins Twitch and Kick chat simultaneously, measuring message speed against each stream's own 5-minute baseline
- Fires a moment when chat runs 3x over baseline or enough viewers type "clip it"
- Calls the Twitch clip API within the same second, beating manual clipping
The core thesis: chat senses a viral moment before any dashboard does, and CUT converts that collective signal into money for the person who posts the clip.
