Citing ValsAI's SRE benchmark—released less than a month ago to test whether models can reverse engineer software from binaries—Delip Rao notes GPT saturated it yesterday. His takeaway: binaries are now editable code, and so are SaaS products. If you can see an API or UX, you can replicate it. Private ownership and distribution are largely gone—what does distribution provide when users can point at something and make their own copies?
