Gary Marcus mocks Jensen Huang for declaring AGI achieved yet again
GaryMarcus · x · 2026-09-07
Gary Marcus mocked NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang's latest claim that "we've achieved AGI." The quote comes from a Lex Fridman interview (March 26), where Huang, asked whether AGI was 5, 10, 15 or 20 years away, replied "I think it's now. I think we've achieved AGI." Marcus quipped that AGI has been "achieved" thousands of times, and this wasn't even the first time Huang said it — nor was Astra the first model he said it about.
