Spinning up Codex sessions in Claude Code loses native inter-agent communication

In a discussion about multi-agent workflows in Claude Code, one user suggested having the main agent spin up Codex sessions as sub-agents—arguing they're easier to interact with and observe, with no limit. The reply notes this is viable, but the main agent then won't use the multi-agent v2 path, so you miss out on native inter-agent communication.
