Thomas Gauvin said his view of Hermes Agent is outdated—he sees it as a personal-agent tool ("openclaw++") rather than a coding agent like Codex, Claude Code, Cursor or OpenCode, and noted no one in his engineering circles uses it. Nous Research's Teknium jumped in to claim "it's better than them all (at everything)," turning the thread into free publicity for Hermes.
