VC says Astra burned his $100 in a day, accuses labs of subscription shrinkflation

Investor Stewart Alsop III reports that Astra burned through his $100 account in 24 hours. He argues OpenAI copied Anthropic's playbook of using model-name 'theatre' to quietly reduce what subscriptions deliver ahead of an IPO. Since Anthropic's earlier limits he split $200 between Codex and Anthropic, favoring Opus as Fable became a token hog. Now Astra forces the same split and triggers weekly limits that didn't exist two weeks ago. He's considering a $100 Grok sub to decentralize away from the labs.
