Tencent's Gander agent keeps talking while working in the background
The Decoder · rss · 2026-09-20
Tencent's Gander agent processes speech, images, and text while handling background tasks: a "cerebellum" keeps conversation flowing while a swappable "brain" searches files or writes code. Users can interrupt mid-task. In benchmarks it interrupted users only 8% of the time, less than rivals, but trailed on task accuracy.
