Devs Want Subvocalization Mics to Talk to AI Agents Silently in Public

Developer @cephaloform says he desperately needs mics that pick up subvocalization — the faint muscle signals of silent speech — for communicating with his AI agent, and would write all the software himself. He adds the motivation: speaking aloud in public is impolite, typing is cumbersome, and he wants to stay aware of his surroundings.
It highlights a real product gap: silent speech input hardware for agent interaction, an area where only EMG wristbands like Meta's sEMG have made commercial inroads.
