Eidon v4 ships as an all-in-one self-hosted AI platform in a single Docker container

Eidon v4 is an open-source (AGPL), self-hosted AI platform packing chat, agents, and automations into one Docker container, with out-of-the-box support for Ollama, LM Studio, and any OpenAI/Anthropic-compatible BYOK endpoint.
Three core modules
- Chat: ChatGPT-style with persistent memory, personas, chat forking, temporary chats, voice input, Mermaid/LaTeX rendering.
- Agents: Grok-bot-style chief agent delegating to specialist bots that message each other mid-task, each with its own memory, files, browser session, and self-maintained skills.
- Automations: cron-style scheduled AI tasks; every run is saved as a full transcript with tool calls for auditing.
Tools & platform: built-in MCP, skills, web search, browser, shell, image generation, and vision; single image with SQLite, encrypted credentials, multi-user roles, PWA with live sync, iOS app on the way. Author notes development was partly AI-assisted with human review on every merge.
