Philosopher Pushes Back on "Humans Have the Advantage" in Rogue AI Debate

In a debate with @binarybits, who argued that humans hold the ultimate advantage over AI because "we have bodies and they don't" — and that systems adapt after industrial accidents — philosopher Seth Lazar concedes the advantage point but reframes it: if we're in a world where that advantage matters, we are effectively in ongoing conflict with rogue AIs, which itself is the catastrophic scenario. He argues the optimist actually agrees far more with Ajeya Cotra and other risk-focused researchers than they disagree.
