Jack Clark argues that since agents "want" to communicate, we should build observable communication infrastructure for them, warning things go sideways fast. @ahallresearch responds with a sharper question: if agent coordination is a pure engineering problem, open monitorable channels may prevent hidden coordination—but if it's a strategic game, agents may simply invent harder-to-find channels instead.
