OpenAI's ASTRA agent still can't do drag-and-drop in web apps, user finds
kaljakin · reddit · 2026-09-06
A user testing OpenAI's ASTRA browsing agent in a company web system found it can navigate, move the cursor, and click fine, but consistently fails at dragging suppliers from an Excel list into groups via mouse drag-and-drop — ChatGPT 5.6 Sol failed the same way. ASTRA still handles data-entry tasks like importing terms from Excel, and even suggested recoding parts of the web app to make it more AI-friendly, which the user may adopt. They quip OpenAI should prioritize drag-and-drop over alignment.
