A user tested Codex's computer use mode mid-flight on plane Wi-Fi: across three Chrome tabs it was simultaneously fixing typos in a paper, filling out conference reimbursement forms, and handling visa paperwork for ongoing travel.

The agent operated surprisingly fast even on poor connectivity, and the author calls the multi-task parallel capability "truly unreal" — a first-hand demo of OpenAI's computer-use agent in real messy tasks.
