Finland's Foreign Minister Valtonen is appointing an expert group to examine the implications of AI for the country's foreign and security policy, per the Finnish government. Researcher Lugar Simbolovski said he was asked to advise Finland and the minister on the country's AI strategy. It marks a concrete national-level move to fold AI into foreign-policy planning.
