Responding to Sabine Hossenfelder's claim that she was offered money to scare people about AI, DrTechlash thanks her for exposing funding sources (a WSJ article, CAIS recruitment, FLI grants) but pushes back on the bothsidesism: the doomer side is far ahead on both spending and reach. Fear-driven videos claiming AI will take jobs and ruin the planet gather hundreds of millions of views, making doom narratives far more compelling than optimistic ones.
