PyTorch announced a talk for PyTorch Conference North America 2026 (Oct 20-21, San Jose): Meta's Avik Chaudhuri will break down PowerFly, a static type checker for Python that enables end-to-end static shape coverage for PyTorch models.
The talk tackles why type systems don't automatically track tensor shapes across neural network modules. Registration is open: standard tickets up to $999, academic tickets flat at $249.
