Mollick uses GPT-6 Astra to turn Boullée's unbuilt 1784 sketches into a full 3D walkthrough

Ethan Mollick showed off GPT-6 Astra by feeding it only a few black-and-white sketches and a description of Boullée's Centograph — the never-built 1784 tomb designed for Isaac Newton. The model built a complete Blender 3D model and directed a dramatic narrated walkthrough of it.
He had previously used Gemini's image generator (nano banana) to visualize the same building from the original 1784 drawings, with solid results. Together the two demos illustrate an AI pipeline from flat sketches to explorable 3D space.
