A 21-year-old IIT Bombay mechanical engineering graduate (JEE AIR 1296) shares his full journey: tutoring JEE physics, interning at Matiks and YC S22's Raven, then bootstrapping his own product — crowdfunded domain money from Reddit, 700+ downloads and 60 DAU in six months before shutting down.
In placement season, 18 students got Stripe interviews, 17 from CS — he was the only mechanical engineer, clearing 3 rounds before falling at the last. He accepted his dream role at AI startup Chronicle, joining in his final semester at $2,000/month.
