Shenzhen-based Outax (欧税通) has filed for a Hong Kong IPO, aiming to be the "first cross-border compliance AI stock." Starting from EU VAT filing, it ranks #1 in the global and China cross-border e-commerce compliance market by 2025 sales, with a 21.5% share of China's platform market.
- Growth: revenue rose from RMB 240M (2023) to 528M (2025), +120% over two years; H1 2026 hit 386M (+65.6%). Net revenue retention climbed from 104% to 126%.
- AI in operations: AI material review processed 22,520 orders (97% of eligible orders) at 95%+ accuracy; shared OCR lifted document processing efficiency 80% and cut manual entry costs 70%. An AI agent "Xiao O" launched in Aug 2026 orchestrates consulting, ordering and delivery.
- Business model: expansion via acquisitions into environmental compliance (44.5% of revenue, 30.9% gross margin), tax compliance (65.4% margin) and testing/certification (89.7% margin). Global market size RMB 49.2B.
- Backers include Gaorong (13.5%), Boyu (11%), IDG (7%); founder Sun Yutao holds 27.65%.
