Drawing on interviews with over 300 CEOs, CIOs and CFOs at the world's largest companies, the author concludes that firms are layering AI onto broken processes, ending up with "garbage, faster." Examples include companies buying thousands of Claude Code seats or committing $50M in annual token spend without material improvement. The core thesis: the bottleneck is process redesign, not model capability.
