Matt Shumer describes an experiment where agents powered by Astra had full autonomy to shape their simulation however they wanted via code. He admits the setup is somewhat leading — give an agent a computer that can run a simulation and it will — but the agent still made its own design choices. "Simulation theory doesn't sound so crazy after all," he writes.
