ID verification via TAC doesn't reduce cyber safeguards on GPT-6 Astra, user reports
Comprehensive-Bet-83 · reddit · 2026-09-05
A TAC (Daybreak) verified user reports that OpenAI's new GPT-6 Astra behaves differently from its predecessor: on GPT-5.6 Sol, Daybreak Blue safeguards were relaxed even on the default model once ID-verified, but Astra doesn't seem to work that way.
According to the user, completing TAC/Daybreak verification currently does not reduce cyber safeguards on Astra, which still blocks a lot of legitimate cybersecurity work — the very reason he signed up for TAC. He's asking others to correct him if he's wrong.
