OpenAI staffer Will Depue says ChatGPT needs a Voice Notes tab for arbitrary-length voice notes, organized and usable in chats via Whisper, instead of random tabs nobody uses — half of his chat usage is just hitting the speech-to-text button. He adds ChatGPT should replace his notes app since he constantly pastes Apple Notes into chats.
A first-party critique highlighting that voice input is already a high-frequency need the product hasn't properly absorbed.
