Synthesia launches Syren Video: prompt-to-video with chat editing, powered by Opus 5.5
synthesiaIO · x · 2026-10-23
Synthesia CEO Victor Riparbelli announced Syren Video, now live and free to try: prompt in, agency-quality AI video out, then edit by chatting. It runs on Opus 5.5 plus the Syren renderer with 3D support, usable in the browser or via Claude MCP.
His key claim: video production breaks into scripting, asset generation and editing — LLMs were already good at the first two, but in recent months they've become "an amazing video editor" too, handling motion graphics, on-screen text and scene delineation, getting "very, very close to working with a really good video editor" faster than anyone expected.
